About The FirmAlan Graf, Of Counsel As of January 1, 2006, Portland Social Security attorney and community activist Alan Graf became Of Counsel to Swanson, Thomas & Coon. Alan is a founding member of the Oregon Social Security Claimants Organization, and co-author of "Social Security Disability Claims: Advanced and Updated for 2004", and "Perfecting Your Social Security Disability Claim", both published by the Oregon State Bar. He also received the "Leonard Weinglass Defense of Civil Liberties Award" for 2006 from the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Arthur J. Bryant Public Justice Award for 2005 from the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. Alan will continue to represent Oregon Social Security Claimants in the federal courts while consulting with the firm on cases at the hearing level and helping to provide information to the Oregon disability community. |
